Are you interested in digital culture, art and technology? Do you want to become an innovative leader in this field? As a curator or an exhibition designer? A cultural manager or a program dramaturge? As an art publicist or an editor? A media aesthetic educator, a cultural facilitator or an audience developer? Or are you a media artist or media maker, who wants to learn more about the particular framework of digital media, its novel conditions, and successful artistic entrepreneurship?
Do you want to make audiences and individuals understand media, grasp it, touch it, critically as well as creatively? Do you want to work in a professional field which merges aesthetics, cultural concepts, media technological methods, pedagogical considerations, and managerial steering strategies? 26 May – 24 June: Visit our Media Art exhibition in Museum Schloß Fechenbach, Dieburg: Schönheit, Wahrheit, Paradies. Digitale Kommentare zur Sehnsucht (Beauty, Truth and Paradise. Digital Comments on Yearning), and join us for the Vernissage on Sat, 26 May, 6.30 p.m. at the museum.
5 Nov – 3 December 2017: StadtWerkstattMedien (CityWorkshopMedia) – Get in touch with us on site! Admission is free. Meet us on Dieburg’s marketplace on 25 and 26 Nov ( morning to early afternoon), and participate in our media actions
1 –3 December 2017: Exhibition in the Museum Schloss Fechenbach of StadtWerkstattMedien (CityWorkshopMedia)
1 Dec, 6.30 p.m.: vernissage of our media sculpture, introduced by the mayor of Dieburg, our university’s vice-president and IMC’s program director Prof. Sabine Breitsameter.
2 and 3 Dec 2017, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Experience our media sculpture at Museum Schloß Fechenbach!
